In plain words
- Your books and notes remain yours. We store them so we can show them back to you, and send them to anyone you choose to share them with — and for nothing else.
- Only upload files you have the right to upload.
- We provide the service as it is, do our best to keep it running, and cannot be held liable for indirect losses.
- You can stop at any time and take your files with you.
1.Agreement
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form a binding agreement between you and Web House Nepal P. Ltd., a company registered in Nepal with its office at Sitapaila, Kathmandu (“we”, “us”), governing your use of the BoNo mobile application and the service behind it (together, “the Service”).
By creating an account or using the Service you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into them by reference. If you do not accept them, do not use the Service.
2.Who may use BoNo
You must be at least 13 years old — or the minimum age of digital consent in your country, if that is higher — to create an account. If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to accept these Terms for that organisation.
You may not use the Service if you are barred from doing so under the laws of Nepal or of your own country.
3.Your account
You are responsible for the accuracy of the details you register, for keeping your password confidential, and for everything that happens under your account. Choose a password you do not use elsewhere, and tell us at support@webhousenepal.com immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.
One account is for one person. Do not share your credentials or let anyone else use your account.
4.Your books and notes
You keep all rights to the files you upload and the notes you write. Adding something to BoNo does not transfer any ownership to us.
To operate the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store your books and notes, create a converted PDF reading copy where the format requires it, transmit them back to you on your devices, and deliver a copy to any person you choose to share it with. This licence exists only so the Service can function, lasts only as long as you keep the item in your account, and ends when you delete the item or your account. We do not use your books or notes for any other purpose — see what we never do.
You are responsible for keeping your own copies of anything important. The Service is a convenient reader, not a backup service.
4.1 Sharing with other people
BoNo lets you share a book or a note with someone else, either to another BoNo account or by sending its PDF out through another app on your phone. Sharing is always a deliberate act on a single item; nothing is shared unless you choose to share it.
When you share something, you are the one publishing it, and you are responsible for it. In particular:
- Share only what you have the right to share. Sending a copyrighted book, a licensed manual or a document belonging to your employer or client may infringe someone's rights or breach your own obligations of confidence.
- A file you send out of the app through WhatsApp, email or any other service leaves BoNo permanently. We cannot recall, track or delete it, and neither can you through us.
- You may withdraw a share made inside BoNo at any time, which ends the other person's access.
- Do not use sharing to send unsolicited, unlawful or harassing material to other people.
Anything you receive from another person is theirs, not ours. We do not review shared content in advance, and we give no warranty about anything a person sends you.
5.Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- upload, store, share or distribute material you do not have the right to use, including material that infringes copyright or other intellectual property rights;
- store or share material that is unlawful under the laws of Nepal or your own country, including material that sexually exploits children, incites violence, or facilitates fraud;
- upload malware, or files designed to damage or gain unauthorised access to any system;
- attempt to access another user's account, books, notes or data, or redistribute something shared with you in breach of the sharer's rights;
- probe, scan, overload or disrupt the Service, or circumvent rate limits, file-size limits or authentication;
- reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to extract source code from the app, except where such restriction is prohibited by law;
- resell, sublicense or offer the Service to third parties without our written agreement.
We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches this section, with notice where it is reasonable to give it.
6.Copyright complaints
Books and notes in BoNo are private to each account and are never published or made searchable. They can be shared only by the account holder, one item at a time, with people that person chooses. If you believe someone is using the Service to infringe your copyright, write to support@webhousenepal.com with a description of the work, the basis of your claim, your contact details, and a statement that the information is accurate. We will investigate and act on valid notices, including removing content and terminating repeat infringers.
7.Availability and changes
We aim to keep the Service available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may carry out maintenance, and we may add, change or remove features.
If we discontinue the Service or a significant part of it, we will give you at least 30 days' notice by email and a way to download your files before access ends.
8.Price and paid features
BoNo is currently provided free of charge. If we introduce paid plans or paid features in future, we will announce the price and terms in advance; existing features you already rely on will not be moved behind a paywall without notice and a fair transition period. Any purchase made through Google Play or the App Store is also subject to that platform's own terms and refund policy.
9.Ending the agreement
You may stop using the Service at any time and delete your account from within the app or via our deletion page. Deletion is permanent — see the Privacy Policy for exactly what is removed and when.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms, if required by law, or if continuing would create a security or legal risk. Except where an immediate suspension is necessary, we will notify you first and give you an opportunity to retrieve your files.
10.Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, that document or note conversion will reproduce every layout exactly, or that files will never be lost. Keep your own copies of anything you cannot afford to lose.
Nothing in these Terms excludes any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
11.Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.
Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) NPR 10,000.
12.Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Web House Nepal P. Ltd. and its directors and employees from any claim, demand, loss or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from content you upload, your use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms or of any law or third-party right.
13.Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Nepal, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The courts of Kathmandu, Nepal have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, except that if you are a consumer resident elsewhere, you keep the benefit of any mandatory protections and the right to bring proceedings in the courts of your own country.
Before starting formal proceedings, please contact us — most issues are resolved quickly by email.
14.Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms. The “Last updated” date at the top will change, and for material changes we will notify you in the app or by email at least 14 days before they take effect. If you do not agree to a change, delete your account before it takes effect; continuing to use the Service afterwards means you accept the revised Terms.

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in force. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between us about the Service.
